Top Chef

Everyone online has been giving Hosea Rosenberg a hard time for winning this seasons Top Chef, but seriously...did everyone really want Stefan to win? I mean, aren't we sick of seeing mean players win the competition year in and year out? Granted, Stefan's malice has nothing on Hung's, but generally he was seen as the "bad guy" of the season and he reveled in it. Now do I think that Hosea was the top chef of the season? Not really...but I also don't think that Stefan deserves to win just because he won the most challenges.

In a perfect world Carla would have won, but bad moves make for bad winner decisions and she was a winner in the bad move category. I love Kasey, but even I couldn't have been talked into making something I had never tried out before, especially for a FINAL CHALLENGE!

I think, in large, Hosea simply won the last challenge, and that's really how the last episode felt. For some reason I felt a bit cheated, it didn't seem as though the chefs were given as much time to think about what they wanted to make, nor did they bring anything with them to cook with. I am not sure why, but this episode just seemed rushed. Which sort of made the decision feel rushed as well. So...did Hosea deserve to win the last challenge? Absolutely. Was he the Top Chef? I'm not so sure about that, but that wasn't what the judges were making their decision on, they clearly stated that Hosea won THIS challenge and that's why he was Top Chef. So Hosea...I am on your side I think you absolutely deserved to win the last episode...which then made you Top Chef, so congrats!

Meanwhile...more importantly...why does everyone care if Hosea and Leah are together? Technically they were both home wreckers and therefore shouldn't be seen as villainous? (No one asked if the Wicked Witch of the West ended up marrying a crazy, evil, flying monkey...)
